Let me introduce myself.

I’m a Chicago-based clinical psychologist providing virtual mental health care for adults navigating a range of emotional and psychological concerns, including trauma and its lasting effects. I specialize in evidence-based therapy that’s both structured and supportive. I focus on helping people feel more centered, capable, and connected.

I earned my PhD in psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology and have spent the majority of my career working in the VA healthcare system, providing care in both general outpatient and specialty trauma-focused settings. My background includes extensive training in treatments for PTSD, anxiety, depression, and related challenges, and I continue to stay grounded in research-informed care.

Clients often describe me as warm, direct, and easy to talk to. I work to create a space where you can be honest, feel understood, and explore meaningful change—without judgment or pressure. I believe that therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation, and I use humor when it fits, helping the process feel more natural.

I’m especially drawn to working with people who feel unsure about therapy or even doubtful that it can really help. Some of the most rewarding work I’ve done has been alongside clients who started out skeptical and ended up surprised by what was possible.

My style is collaborative and transparent. I bring clinical knowledge and years of experience, but I also recognize that you’re the expert on your own life. Together, we’ll figure out what’s working, what’s not, and what next steps feel right to you.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about music—I’ve played guitar for most of my life and love catching live shows when I can. I try not to take myself too seriously, and I’ve found that a little curiosity and humor can go a long way in this work—and in life.

If you’re considering getting some help, you don’t have to have it all figured out. Just reach out.
