What to expect from therapy.

  • I bring expertise in mental health and behavior change; you bring insight into your own life. Therapy works best when we combine both. Our direction will be something we shape together—something that makes sense to you and feels worth investing in.

  • I use therapy approaches that are grounded in research and shown to be effective in clinical studies. These treatments are structured, goal-focused, and tailored to your unique needs. I offer a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), depending on what you want to address.

  • I meet with clients over a secure video platform, making therapy more accessible no matter where you are. Virtual sessions offer flexibility, privacy, and the ability to get support in a setting that works for your life. Many people find that virtual care fits easily into their routines—and can be just as effective as in-person therapy.

  • Therapy only works if you feel safe being fully yourself. I approach this work with openness and respect, and I’ve had the privilege of working with people from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and identities. I don’t make assumptions, and I value the chance to learn about your world and how you see your role in it.

  • Therapy shouldn’t feel vague or aimless. I take an active approach—helping you build concrete skills, identify clear goals, and track meaningful progress. Whether we’re focused on day-to-day challenges or long-term change, we’ll work toward outcomes that feel meaningful and sustainable.

  • While we may use a structured approach, therapy is never one-size-fits-all. Your needs may shift over time, and we’ll adjust as we go. I’ll work with you to make sure your care stays relevant, responsive, and aligned with what matters most to you.

  • As a trauma specialist, I am able to provide targeted therapy to help process past trauma and promote recovery. I also provide treatment for a variety of other common mental health concerns. Even if your goals are unrelated to trauma or focused on the present, I strive to understand how your life experiences have shaped who you are.
